Cancer Support Groups at Maggies Clatterbridge

A ‘Where Now?’ group session at Maggies Clatterbridge

Funding for a second year

We are delighted to be helping Maggies Clatterbridge again this year by funding their Cancer Support workshops ‘Where Now?’ and ‘Living with and Beyond Prostate Cancer’.

The Williams Family Foundation Trustees recently had the chance to meet with some of last year’s course participants. The positive feedback was fantastic and showed what a difference this support has made to their recovery journey.

One participant commented: “The course has been so beneficial in so many ways – allowing us opportunities to discuss aspects of our cancer journey. It has been so helpful to meet others in a similar situation to me. We are all different people but we have things in common and we can learn from and support each other.”

The Maggies’ Welcome

Emotional and practical support for people living with cancer are so important and Maggies provide this in a number of ways.  When you visit the Maggies Centre at Clatterbridge you are always greeted with a friendly smile, cup of tea and a slice of cake.

We love working with the team at Maggies and thank them for the chance to help make a difference to people living with and beyond cancer.
